Andrew Beaumont

I started playing in 1989 following in the footsteps of my mother and father. I went through the Summer Coaching at Egham.

I was a member of the very successful Egham Denny Cup team which won the Cup for three seasons in succession (2004/05, 2005/06 and 2006/07). I was also a member of the Egham Trophy winning team (2008/09). I have won seven County Titles indoors (Pairs, Fours and Mixed Fours) and two Home Counties titles (Pairs and Fours). In 2011/12 I skipped an Egham Four to victory in the London and Southern Counties IBA Single Rink competition. I have regularly played for Surrey in the Liberty Trophy.
The highlight of my bowls career so far has been to win the National Indoors Over 50's Triples in 2016/17 with my friends and fellow bowlers Barry Jenkins and Steve Tuohy. We were all born in 1966, and won the competition at our first attempt, and none of us were 51!

Glenda Dexter

I was introduced to the game of bowls in Wales and continue to play the game since moving to Surrey in 1990. I held the Ladies Championship title for several years at my previous club ‘West Byfleet’ before moving to Egham Bowls Club to play on their outdoor green in 2010. I became a qualified Bowls Coach in 2011 and provide coaching for beginners at Egham’s indoor and outdoor sections.

Last year (2015) was a very successful bowling year for me, reaching the finals of the Ladies County fours and qualifying to play at Leamington in the National competitions. I went on to win the Ladies Championship and Handicap in the club competitions.
